A leading US firm with revenues in excess of $600 million. This law firm has a very well-regarded directories-listed real estate practice in the US, which has won numerous awards. Many of the key lawyers and highest billers are real estate partners and real estate as a sector has always been very important to the firm.
The firm continues to show a strong commitment to the real estate market. The London office has well-established directories-listed investment real estate and corporate real estate practices. There are lawyers in the key support areas - real estate finance, real estate tax, regulatory and construction. The firm is looking to recruit an investment focused real estate partner. The London team has a number of loyal clients and the US provides some strong introductions.
The lead partner is looking to continue to develop the practice but also to start the process of handing over some key relationships. You will be second in command but over time the role could easily develop into a leadership position. Management has always been very reasonable (and refreshing) when analysing partner business plans. Although there is an existing internal business case, a personal following of c.£1 million would be ideal.
The recruitment process at the partner level is streamlined and well planned.
